Upcoming Lunch & Learn: Introducing Empower Parkinson
We are so excited to host a Lunch & Learn with Empower Parkinson on Wednesday, February 18th from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in our McClurg Design Center.
Empower Parkinson will also be promoting their upcoming event Breaking Barriers, Building Hope for Parkinson's with Rashida Ali on March 25th, at The OnCenter, and introducing ways for local businesses and individuals to get involved.
A Thoughtfully Curated Lunch
Lunch will be complimentary, catered by Wegmans and thoughtfully curated by nutritionist Emily Gozy, featuring a protein-rich, high-fiber menu that aligns with the wellness-focused mission of Empower Parkinson’s and supports the incredible boxers and participants involved in their programs.
Nutrition plays an important role in overall strength, balance, and quality of life, and this menu reflects the holistic approach Empower Parkinson’s brings to their work every day.
A Partnership Rooted in Purpose
Our partnership with Empower Parkinson’s began several years ago, growing naturally from our passion for Universal Design and our ADA Certification. We are dedicated to helping our clients and community members stay in their homes comfortably and safely.
Since that partnership began, our collaboration has continued to grow in meaningful ways:
- Speaking at Empower Parkinson’s conferences
- Installing grab bars in their facilities and in members’ homes
- Supporting accessibility improvements that enhance safety and independence
- Joining the Board of Development for their upcoming March event
