We hosted our second Lunch & Learn with our partners at A Tiny Home for Good. We were honored to welcome so many familiar and new faces into our Design Center to learn more about this incredible organization.
We've been proud partners with A Tiny Home for Good for several years now, and we're honored to call this incredible team our friends.
One of the ways we continue to support their mission is by opening our Design Center to host Lunch & Learns like this one. It's an opportunity to introduce our clients and community to the people behind the organization and give them a closer look at the life-changing work they are doing right here in Syracuse.
Many of our clients are already familiar with our partnership. Every remodeling project includes the opportunity to donate usable kitchen materials including cabinets, countertops, tile, and more, to A Tiny Home for Good.
A question we hear often is, "Where do these materials actually go?"
At our Lunch & Learn, founder Andrew Lunetta and members of the Tiny Home team answered that question firsthand.
Yes, many of these materials find new life inside the tiny homes themselves. But the story doesn't stop there.
Our guests learned about the people who now call those homes their own. They heard the stories of tenants who found stability, community, and hope through A Tiny Home for Good, and how having a safe place to live has changed the course of their lives.
For more than 10 years, A Tiny Home for Good has been creating permanent supportive housing in Syracuse. Today, more than 25 tenants are part of a community that is built on dignity, relationships, and long-term support. Their mission goes far beyond constructing homes, they're building community.
That ripple effect is something you can truly feel.
During the presentation, guests also learned that anyone is welcome to join the Tiny Home team on Tuesday mornings for a neighborhood walk. It's an opportunity to meet the tenants, experience the community firsthand, and see the impact of their work up close. It's one thing to hear about the mission—it's another to walk alongside the people living it every day.
That was our hope for this Lunch & Learn.
We wanted to pull back the curtain and introduce our clients, friends, and community members to the people who make A Tiny Home for Good what it is. From their case managers and neighborhood gatherings to the relationships they've built with tenants, every part of their work is rooted in connection.
Donating materials is an incredible way to support the organization, and we're grateful to every client who chooses to do so. But we also believe there's value in understanding the mission behind those donations. When you know the people, hear the stories, and witness the impact, it becomes something much bigger than a donation; it becomes a shared commitment to building a stronger community.
We were honored to host our second Lunch & Learn with A Tiny Home for Good. We look forward to creating more opportunities like this, where our community can connect with the organizations making a difference and discover new ways to get involved.
