Responsible for overall supervision of on-site project work
Maintain everyday communication with the customer to ensure an excellent client-experience, and that contract obligations and estimates are met accordingly
Successful candidates are strong communicators, team-oriented, organized, and have a passion for their work
Lead Carpenters work hand-in-hand with all team members, specifically with laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of carpentry or residential construction experience
Manage client projects of all scales, from initial appointment to final contract
Provide ideas, inspiration, and vision for clients and their home projects
Communication, organization, and customer service are essential skills as you are working with a variety of professionals to coordinate client needs, goals, and expectations
Successful candidates are driven, goal oriented, and self directed
Experience with proposals, estimates, design, sales, and customer service are key qualifiers
Assist the Production Team, providing a helpful hand in all aspects of McClurg projects
Primary tasks include, but are not limited to: maintaining cleanliness of project sites, transporting project materials, dismantling and demolition, basic carpentry work, etc.
Assist with framing, sheetrock, siding, trim, roofing, deck systems, drainage, etc.
- The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of carpentry or residential construction experience, have a positive attitude, and be self-motivated and a strong team player
