A safe, stable home has the power to change a life — it’s a simple truth that drives both the mission of A Tiny Home for Good and our commitment to this new partnership. We’re proud to collaborate with this Syracuse-based nonprofit, dedicated to ending homelessness by providing secure, affordable housing for those who need it most.
We’ve been inspired by the vision and dedication of Andrew Lunetta and Katie Weaver, the driving forces behind A Tiny Home for Good. Through their leadership, they’ve built — and rebuilt — communities across Syracuse, offering not just housing, but hope.
When Jamie Sprague, Co-Owner of McClurg Remodeling, and our team sat down with Andrew and Katie to learn more about their mission, it quickly became clear that this was more than a cause we wanted to support — it was one we wanted to be a part of. What started as a conversation about donating materials grew into a commitment to get involved at a deeper level.
We’re honored to share that Jamie has joined the Board of Directors for A Tiny Home for Good, giving McClurg the opportunity to collaborate more closely, contribute meaningfully, and work alongside a team dedicated to changing lives in Central New York.
This partnership is about more than building homes — it’s about building a stronger, more connected community. One of the first steps in our collaboration is focusing on sustainability by donating and recycling quality materials from our remodeling projects.
We’re grateful to the clients who have already embraced this initiative by choosing to donate items like cabinets, tiles, and fixtures. When materials are in great shape, we now discuss recycling options with homeowners as part of our renovation process. It’s a simple way to give parts of a home new life — turning yesterday’s kitchen cabinets or bathroom tiles into part of a future home for the next family.
We want to send a special "thank you" to our amazing clients who chose to donate their cabinets, seen in the first photo below. These materials found a second life in a new kitchen (second photo) built by A Tiny Home for Good — providing a fresh start for someone in need.
Seeing pieces of our client’s homes become part of a solution to homelessness is truly inspiring, and we’re excited to continue to grow this effort together!
Thank you to Katie Weaver for sharing photos of the finished kitchen project!
It is exciting to see how a little goes along way!
A Tiny Home for Good operates with a clear vision — using the "Housing First" model to provide stability before anything else. With ongoing projects, including multi-family renovations and plans for new tiny homes, their work is transforming lives across Syracuse. We’re proud to stand beside them as partners, volunteers, and advocates.
Building and remodeling homes is our mission but building community is our passion.
This collaboration reflects our beliefs— that homes are more than walls and roofs; they’re the solid foundation for family, growth and love.
We’ll continue to share updates as this partnership grows, including ways for our community, clients, and friends to get involved.
To get involved now you can head to their webpage for volunteer and donation opportunities.
Whether it’s donating materials, volunteering time, or simply spreading the word, every effort helps move this mission forward.
Thank you to Andrew, Katie, and the entire team at A Tiny Home for Good for the incredible work you do — we’re honored to be part of it.
Stay tuned as we work together to rebuild our community.
