Universal Design Ideas for Bathrooms

There is a growing interest among homeowners in Universal Design features. The National Association of Home Builders, of which McClurg is a member, defines Universal Design as “the design of products and environments to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialized design.” We look to include Universal Design elements in the design of every bathroom remodel to accommodate people of all ages and stages of life. These features make a bathroom functional, safe and stylish.

McClurg is a certified Aging-in-Place specialist. We can help you modify or remodel your home to make everyday life more comfortable while keeping your independence in mind.
