Before and after photos of a complete bathroom remodel of a Syracuse city home built around 1952. BEFORE - The blue tile went from the floor to the ceiling, the bathtub and wall mounted soap dishes were pink and toilet was blue, a common trend for homes of this era in the Syracuse area. At some time the sink was replaced, the fixtures did not match and competed with one another. AFTER - The homeowner is a New Englander who moved here years ago but still has a passion for the beach and the ocean shore. The finished bathroom is inspired by the ocean. The white wavy tile accent resembles ocean waves. The deep blue green wall color reminds one of an ocean on a sunny day. Light brown floor tiles look like a sandy beach. You will also notice that this bathroom remodel addressed safety in a tub/shower with the addition of white grab bars.
