This addition to a home in Skaneateles, NY created a much larger room by removing the exterior house wall and "adding" it to an existing room. All of the new windows fill the room with natural sunlight and allow a wonderful view of the lake below. The built-in gas fireplace doesn't take up much space but adds a nice feature to the room and provides some additional heat in the colder seasons. The clear finished cherry floors, pine doors and fir moldings display the beauty of combining natural woods. The overall addition is a bright and relaxing space that brings attention to the spectacular view.
